Classes
Kickboxing is an aerobic and an anaerobic workout and an extremely effective way to burn fat, on average students can burn over 1000 calories per session. There is a large toning element to kickboxing because it engages all the muscle groups of your body, while building up core strength.
This sport is an excellent stress reliever. It offers a healthy way to get out some of the days frustrations and enables a better night’s sleep and mental clarity. It also increases the releases of endorphins which can diminish the effects of stress and as a result everything associated with it. The added dynamic of training in a team heightens these benefits.
Self-discipline is also a big component at OKC, and it has proven tangible benefits outside the realms of the sport as well. Students find themselves more committed to eating better and generally leading a healthier lifestyle. In addition, using a disciplined approach to various things makes one more positive which goes hand-in-hand with improved confidence levels and quality of life.
